Over 100 civil society organizations call for a Millennium Development Goal Breakthrough Plan to be achieved at the UN Summit with clear and concrete results for the 1.4 billion people who continue to live in poverty

An open letter signed by over 100 international and national civil society organizations ranging from women’s-, environmentalist-, development, faith-based and youth movements, trade unions has today been sent to the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, the author of “Keeping the Promise   - a forward-looking review to promote an agreed action agenda to achieve the Millennium Development Goals by 2015.”
